Detailed 7 days Gorilla Trekking & Wildlife Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport –
You will be welcomed by our professional safari guide/ driver – Transfer to Kibale National Park (Home of Chimpanzees). Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale (Luxury), Chimp’s Nest Lodge (Deluxe), or Nyinabulitwa Resort and Safari Camp (Budget).
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking – afternoon relaxation
After breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for briefing and thereafter, move in groups to meet chimpanzees in their national habitat. The trek takes approximately 2-4hrs and after meeting chimpanzees, you will be given one hour is given to stay with the chimps. Return to our lodge for relaxation as you wait for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel.
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park – enjoy an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel to see a variety of water-loving mammals like crocodiles, Hippos, Monitor Lizards among others. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge (Luxury), Enganzi Lodge (Deluxe), or Twin Lake Lodge (Budget).
Day 4: Morning game Drive – afternoon relaxation
After breakfast, drive through Queen Elizabeth to see a variety of wild animals like elephants, buffaloes, Antelopes, lions, bush Bucks among others. Return for lunch and relax as you wait for dinner and overnight at your previous Lodge.
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Move through Ishasha sector to see the tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge (Luxury), Gorilla Mist Camp (Deluxe), or Rushaga Gorilla Camp (Budget)
Day 6: Gorilla trekking – afternoon relaxation
After breakfast- go to briefing point – Move to meet mountain Gorillas in their natural habitats. You will spend approximately 4-6 hours and then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at your previous accommodation.
Day 7: Return to Entebbe Airport – Evening departure
