Kazinga channel. This is between lake George and Edward. It is among the largest channels in the world. In the boat cruise, visitors will see many animals coming to take water, some of them may include Elephants, buffaloes, and many others. The boat cruise can also reward visitors with beautiful birds, crocodiles and others.
Boat cruises on kazinga channel can be done in the morning or in the afternoon when the animals come to quench their thirsty.

Kyambura gorge. This is a section of Queen Elizabeth National Park known for chimpanzee tracking. These Chimpanzees move freely in the gorge enjoying their daily activities and eating natural food in the forest. Chimpanzee permits are organized daily and permits can be purchased through Uganda wildlife Authority.
Katwe Salt Lake. In the community tour, enjoy the Katwe Salt Lake where salt is extracted locally by community people to earn a living. The care taker will explain to you how all the process is done and the benefits.
Rwenzori mountain National Park
Rwenzori mountains also known as mountains of the moon is located in kasese and the neighboring. It is the third highest mountain in Africa after mountain Kilimanjaro and mountain Kenya. Currently many visitors self drive to Rwenzori and hike the mountain plus doing other activities around the mountain like village and Nature walks.
Visitors do park cars at the safe places like at their accommodation and then hike the mountain. The number of days spent on the mountain depends on the visitor. Hike can start from 1 day to 7 days or more like for some visitors who wish to explore the many peaks including the highest called margarita peak.
